  Welcome to the E&M Designs Website.

    This site has been designed to introduce you to the company in a straightforward manner without overwhelming detail.

     In brief E&M Designs Ltd. is wholly owned and operated by Edward Baker, a Chartered Engineer of long standing
     who has considerable experience in Engineering Design.

    If you are about to employ engineering resources you may like to consider the advantages of contacting me.

  • I offer a Personal Service with a degree of Confidentiality and Accountability which cannot be achieved by many of the larger design companies.
  • The range of service offered is from Concept and Consultancy through to Design and Detail or just Assistance when your resources are stretched and a flexible response is required.
  • The type of clients served are from Internationally known to Small Enterprise Companies..
  • The type of equipment that I have designed falls broadly into two areas. Firstly Special purpose Machinery,  Involving Robotics, Pick and Place Mechanisms, Pneumatics, Servo Operated Systems and Test Machines  Secondly, Product Distribution, Packaging Machinery and End of Line equipment in the Food and Confectionary industry.
  • The diversity of projects worked on includes Commercial Vehicle Component Assembly, Pin Weighing, Frozen Food Collating, Stacking Systems for Board Products, and Confectionary Wrapping / Packing /Distribution Machines and Systems.
  • Before creating E&M Designs Ltd. I have been a directly engaged as an Engineer in  Automobile, Carpet,  Small Wire Products, Electric Motor and Chocolate Manufacture.
  • My office, which is equipped with a CAD workstation with Printing to A3 and Plotting up to A0, is conveniently situated on the  meeting points between the Oxfordshire , Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire county boundaries.
